from animals, microorganisms and marine sources. They come in a wide variety of
forms like tablets, capsules, tinctures, solutions, creams, ointments and drops.
Natural Health Products (NHPs) are defined as:
- Vitamin and mineral products
- Herbal remedies
- Traditional and homeopathic medicines
- Products containing Nutraceutical Ingredients such as:
- Amino acids
- Essential fatty acids
- Enzymes
- Isolates
- Synthetic duplicates
- Volatile oils
- Probiotics
- Other non-human animal materials
